Weekend Up North

This weekend we had to go up north for a few different reasons... first my annual doctor appointment with my heart specialist up there and great news, I am good to go!! I no longer have to go up there for appointments, unless there's a problem. But they said everything looks great and its all healed and closed up. I just can't believe its already almost been a year since that happened. I just feel really lucky that it didn't get worse and we were able to fix it. And I have to say that I'm really happy I did get that tattoo that will remind me the rest of my life about that and makes me appreciate things a little more each day! Then later that evening we went to dinner with Scott's sister Wendy and his cousin Judd... We went to a nice restaurant and talked for hours. That was a lot of fun. Then we had my sister Carolyn's wedding up there to go to on Friday. It was really beautiful and the day went so smoothly. I thought it was a great wedding and we all had a blast together. I'm really happy for my sister and our new addition Jason! love you both!

Then the next day on Saturday we had Scott's brother-in-laws 40th birthday party and his other sisters kid's dance recital. So we had a good time watching her cute kids perform and then went to the party! It was a lot of fun and I love hanging out with Scott's family. They are so much fun and I feel like one of them when I'm with them. Then Sunday we all hung out at Scott's parents house and celebrated his niece's birthday. Everyone came over and we had dinner and cake. Then we had to drive back home. I hate that drive so much but the trip is always worth it! Anyways overall it was a really fun weekend!
